The Brilliant Future Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who are interested in a cosmetology, esthetics or nail esthetics course. To qualify, you must have completed a Career Planning Session with Aveda Institute Admissions Team, and start at the Aveda Institute by July or August of your graduation year. To apply, you need to submit a scholarship application and an essay or a video.

Each scholarship has a set of requirements: specific factors that determine whether or not you're eligible to apply. If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
