Overview
The CMAA- SAC Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 for full-time students enrolled in an A/E/C degree program or another related degree program in the South Atlantic Chapter region and show a strong interest in a career in this industry. Examples of eligible degree programs include, but are not limited to, architecture, engineering (civil, mechanical, structural, etc.), and construction management. To apply, you need an essay and recommendations.

Yes! But make sure to read each scholarship application's essay guidelines and requirements, and personalize your essay to each scholarship you apply to. Using the same essay for multiple applications can be a time-saver, but changing just a sentence or two can make a difference!
To increase your chances of getting a scholarship, apply early, follow all application instructions, and write a great scholarship essay (if applicable)! For more help, ask a Mos advisor!
When choosing a reference, try to select someone who knows you well and can speak to your specific skills and achievements. Teachers, employers, and coaches are all great examples. FYI: you should never put down a family member or friend!
