The Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina awards $400,000 of scholarships to high school seniors in Charleston, Dorchester, Colleton, Berkeley, Hampton, Jasper, Beaufort, Georgetown, and Horry counties. Some scholarships are based on merit, financial need, or extracurricular activities. There’s one application for all 120 of their scholarships, which asks for two letters of recommendation and will automatically match you with the scholarships for which you qualify. Local students have a very high chance to win!

Letters of recommendation typically come from teachers, counselors, coaches, leaders in groups you're a part of—basically any person who knows you well and is NOT a family member.
Yes! You can use the same letter for multiple scholarships. Make sure the letter meets each scholarship's requirements, and isn't too specific to one scholarship. Tip: You might have to ask your recommender to change the wording for different applications.
