The HBCU Scholars Empowerment Program is offered to African American/Black graduating high school seniors attending a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) or a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). To qualify, you must have a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or show completion of a GED and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to Pell Grant eligible students and/or students with a focus in technology, health, or teaching professions. To apply, you must submit a resume, an essay, and a letter of recommendation.
