James F. Nelson merit scholarship offers $2,500 to blind and visually impaired students who are residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia or attending school in Virginia. The selection is based on academic achievement, community engagement, and leadership potential. If selected, you'll participate in the NFB of Virginia state convention and in all scheduled scholarship program activities to be held in Portsmouth, Virginia.
