If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
Each scholarship has a set of requirements: specific factors that determine whether or not you're eligible to apply. You can visit the scholarship site to find this information, or fill out the Mos quiz to be automatically matched with scholarships you qualify for! FYI: the more information you share with Mos, the better scholarship matches Mos will make!
Sea services typically refer to the various branches of a country's military that operate on or near bodies of water, such as the ocean, seas, or lakes. The specific members of these branches vary by country, but some common examples include:
Navy: This is the branch of a country's military that is responsible for operations at sea, including the deployment of ships, submarines, and aircraft carriers. The members of the Navy are typically called sailors or seamen and may include officers, enlisted personnel, and naval aviators.
Coast Guard: This is the branch of a country's military responsible for maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, and maritime security. The coast guard members are typically called coastguardsmen or coasters and may include officers and enlisted personnel.
Marine Corps: This branch of a country's military specializes in amphibious operations and close combat support for naval operations. The members of the Marine Corps are typically called Marines and may include officers and enlisted personnel.
These are just a few examples of the members of the sea services.
