The June Community Foundation offers scholarships of up to $10,000 to students who reside in the Juneau area. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, financial need, or extracurricular activities. Each scholarship has its own set of requirements which includes an essay and a letter of recommendation. Local students have a very high chance of winning!

Yes! But make sure to read each scholarship application's essay guidelines and requirements, and personalize your essay to each scholarship you apply to. Using the same essay for multiple applications can be a time-saver, but changing just a sentence or two can make a difference!
