The LKS Educational Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships up to $20,000 per year for tuition, fees, room, and board at a 2 or 4-year institution in Oregon. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, and eligibility requires a minimum high school GPA of 3.5, an annual household income of $75,000 or less, U.S. citizenship, and residency in Marion, Benton, Linn, or Lane County. Applicants must also pass a background check and be enrolled as a full-time student. Priority is given to previously awarded recipients with a cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher, and applicants who receive institutional, state, and federal aid exceeding tuition, room, and board costs are excluded.

If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
Each scholarship has a set of requirements: specific factors that determine whether or not you're eligible to apply. You can visit the scholarship site to find this information, or fill out the Mos quiz to be automatically matched with scholarships you qualify for!
