The Sacramento Region Community Foundation provides more than $300,000 each year across 30+ opportunities throughout the Sacramento Region. First, you'll need to create an account and complete a general application. The system will recommend scholarships that may be right for you, and then you'll need to complete separate applications for each scholarship you wish to apply. An essay and recommendation may be required to apply. Local students have a very high chance to win!

To have a copy of your official transcript submitted for a scholarship application, you'll need to contact the registrar's office and ask that they send your transcript to the address you provide. Tip: Make sure to do this far in advance!
For a college transcript, you can also contact the registrar's office, or, you can submit a request through your college portal. FYI: Colleges often charge a fee for this.
We recommend submitting your FAFSA in October. Why? A lot of state grants are first-come, first-serve, and the money runs out quickly. You don't want to miss out on money because other students submitted FAFSA before you.
