The Shirley and Kenneth Smith Memorial $2,000 Scholarship is awarded to a student currently enrolled full-time in a college or university and pursuing a major or minor degree in Art, with an emphasis on painting or drawing. The applicant must be a legal resident of or a full-time registered student in Polk County or one of the bordering counties: Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story, or Warren. A written statement in which you include all art-related activities and three professional letters of recommendation are required to apply.
