This scholarship is offered to a doctoral candidate pursuing a dissertation topic for a doctoral degree in the cognitive, clinical, and neural foundations of language in the United States. To qualify, you must be nominated by their Department Chair, Program Head, or Graduate Director. Doctoral candidates may be nominated before they have completed all non-dissertation requirements, but funding will only begin once the Department, Program Head or Graduate Director certifies that the candidate has completed all requirements for the doctoral degree except for the dissertation.

Your next best bet is to email the school office or your counselor. We prepared an email to make it easier for you! Make sure to replace everything in the brackets with the relevant information. If you don't know the name of the person who'll get your email, you can address it "To Whom It May Concern" or "Dear High School Officer."
