The Nurse Corps Scholarship is offered to nursing students in exchange for a minimum two-year, full-time service commitment (or part-time equivalent) at an eligible health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses. To qualify, you must be pursuing nursing education as registered nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialist, certified nurse anesthetist, or certified nurse midwives. The selection is based on the response to an essay question, two letters of recommendation, and the academic performance.
