Overview

The U.S. Western Digital STEM Scholarship offers up to 55 awards of $5,000 each to historically underrepresented and underserved students in the STEM field. This includes first-generation college students, women, and those who self-identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian, and Alaska Native. To qualify, you must transfer from a community college to a four-year university to pursue a STEM degree. A minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale and demonstrated financial need or hardship are also required.
